A desk plant that never dies
A crochet flower pot is built to do what a real desk plant can't: sit in the same spot for years without watering, repotting or dying if you forget it over a long weekend. Each pot is made by hand, start to finish, from soft milk-cotton and acrylic yarn, with wire inside the stems so the flowers hold their shape. There's no soil, no pollen and no mess, just a small plant that stays exactly as it looks on day one.
What it's good for as a gift
A pot reads as practical and a little playful, a good fit for a desk gift, a new-job gift, a housewarming, or anyone who's killed one too many real plants. It doesn't carry the romantic weight of a rose, so it works just as well for a colleague or a teacher as it does for a close friend.
Colour and which product to pick
- [Little Daisy Pot](/p/daisy-pot) (₹1,199, about 16 cm, 3.5 hours): three white daisies with yellow centres in a small pot. Cheerful and simple, good for friendship, thank-you or get-well gifts.
- [Sunshine Pot](/p/sunflower-pot) (₹1,299, about 18 cm, 3.5 hours): one sunflower in a green crochet pot. Warmer and bolder, good for a birthday or a general feel-good gift.
Both are sized for a desk, a windowsill or a small shelf. We currently keep pots to these two flowers. If you'd like a different flower in a pot, such as a rose or a lily, or a larger pot size, Design Your Own Bouquet on /custom can be made to your specification, and it also covers bulk and corporate orders.
How to pair it
A pot works well paired with a single stem for a fuller gift. Try the Little Daisy Pot with a single Eternal Red Rose, or the Sunshine Pot with the Sunrise Sunflower in the same colour family, so the person gets one stem to hold and one pot that sits down on its own. This combination costs less and feels more personal than jumping straight to a full bouquet.
Delivery, payment and care
Pots get free delivery to most pincodes, with a small delivery charge for far-off areas shown clearly before payment. Ready pieces are dispatched in 2 to 4 days and arrive 3 to 7 days after dispatch, depending on the pincode. You can pay online by UPI, card or netbanking, or choose cash on delivery with a small confirmation payment upfront.
There's no watering or sunlight needed, just keep the pot out of strong direct sun since the yarn colour can fade over time, and dust it now and then with a soft brush. Every order includes a free handwritten gift note, and the parcel carries no price tag or invoice, so it's safe to send straight to the person you're gifting. If anything arrives damaged in transit, send photos or a short unboxing video within 7 days and we'll make it right.

Who a crochet pot suits best
A pot tends to work for people who already have plants, or have tried and failed to keep one alive. It also suits small spaces, like a hostel room, a studio desk or a work cubicle, where a water-dependent plant is more hassle than it's worth. Since there's no soil or water involved, it travels well too, which makes it a reasonable gift for someone who moves around for work or college.
What to write on the card
A pot card can lean a little playful, since the gift itself has a gentle joke built in: a plant that can't be killed by forgetting to water it. A line acknowledging that, alongside a genuine wish for the new desk, home or job, tends to land well. Every order includes a free handwritten note, so there's nothing extra to arrange.
A quick size comparison
Both pots are close in size, at 16 to 18 cm tall, small enough to sit beside a laptop or a stack of books without taking over the desk. If you want something larger for a bigger surface, like a dining table or a console, a bouquet such as the Wild Meadow Bouquet at about 40 cm will suit that space better than a pot.
